Self-funding Patients

Payment for Out-patients

For patients who choose to pay for themselves we ask that you pay for any treatment undertaken on the day at reception. Payment can be made by credit or debit card, cash or a cheque supported by a bank card.

This will not include your consultant’s fees which will be invoiced separately by the consultant.

Payments for Day-case and In-patient Admissions

If you aren’t a member of a medical insurance scheme, then don’t worry. You can still enjoy private healthcare with us thanks to our fixed price and self pay schemes. Before your admission you will receive a pro-forma invoice covering all the anticipated costs. You can settle this by either

  • Payment by credit or debit card 3 days prior to admission
  • Send a cheque to arrive five working days before your admission

Please Note: A quotation can only be given once a consultation has taken place to identify your individual requirements.

Fixed Price Package

A fixed price is available for some routine procedures and covers the cost of everything involved in your treatment. This enables you to know the exact cost in advance. A fixed price package is offered subject to a satisfactory pre-assessment visit.

Extras

Any personal extra costs incurred during your visit such as guest meals and telephone calls must be settled as you leave the hospital.

Professional Fees

Your specialist will send you a separate bill for their fees.
