There is a lot in the press regarding MRSA and we would like to reassure our patients that at The Spencer Wing infection control is of paramount importance. Our results for the year to December 2004 were 0.5% of all admissions, of these patients none caught the infection whilst a patient with us, but were either transferred or admitted with it. All were successfully treated.
