How to obtain an appointment

If your GP would like to refer you to a specialist simply ask them to refer you to one who practises at The Spencer Wing. Your GP will write a referral letter and then you simply ring us to arrange an appointment. We will put you in touch with the consultant's secretary to arrange a date and time convenient to you.

If you're claiming on your private medical insurance, your GP may need to complete some sections of your claim form.

Once your GP referral has been arranged simply ring 01843 234555 to arrange a convenient time for your outpatient appointment.

There are some services for which you may not need a GP referral, for example, sports injury treatment, and cosmetic surgery consultations. The customer services adviser at The Spencer Wing can advise you on this.

Once you and your consultant have agreed on the treatment needed, we'll arrange your admission for a time that fits in with your other priorities and commitments.
